I am unable to SEND Email using my Outlook Express and Yahoo Enhanced Mail Program?
for $19.95 per year, I am able to send Yahoo email through Outlook Express; however, lately I can RECEIVE email in Outlook, but anything I send gets held in Outlook’s Outbox. Presently at this email address Euphmom4524now@yahoo.com I have 12 messages waiting to be sent in the outbox since Wednesday. Outlook checks for mail using pop.mail.yahoo.com but then I receive the following error message:
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: ‘pop.mail.yahoo.com’, Server: ’smtp.mail.yahoo.com’, Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0×800CCC0F
Why won’t it send my email messages???
UPDATE: I’ve noticed that when Outlook searches for email messages, it tries to SEND what is still stuck in the outbox first. Isn’t this abnormal routine sequence? Shouldn’t it not be seeking new mail first and THEN trying to send? I’ve no clue whether or not this is relevant to a correct solution but…..
