Was just wondering: is it possible to locate another perosn’s yahoo email address by doing some sort of search? i don’t have my friend’s yahoo email and want to email them.

An acquaintance of mine sent me an email recently asking for information with respect to immigrating to Australia from Iran. The person in question was asking on behalf of their friend (who is of course Iranian). Here is the actual email.

“scott, I am a sort that helps friends quite often.I hope I could continue like this!…But now I have an internet freind who Is Iranian, and wishes to come to Australia and stay there. He is in charge of webmanagement in an Iranian company now. You know,I am half french half British, I told him about immigration laws getting tough here..He is so sad..thinks that the world is ending!SO I though I should do something! You c ,I am helping 2 families now and fostering a young girl, I cant take any more! but I can investigate and find meansto help him..Please tell me, how is it ,if he wants to come there?What would be the requirements?and how could one immigrate to your place?

How can I find a person email addess if I only know the person’s name?

I know they use to use it but now Im not sure and I cant get in touch with them

I would like for someone to check into this possible scam, to protect everyone. I am not very familiar with who to contact and how to go about it. The person of this NatWestBank even called me, their from the UK and has a strong Nigerian accent. Their emails and notifications of the won lottery are very persuading, however their asking for over 2, 000 to transfer funds from UK accounts and $ to US accounts and money. I was even provided with an online account number. yahoo should also be aware that their using the domain name as a cover to rip people off. vb

WHEN I INSTANT MESSAGE SOMEONE I GET THE MESSAGE THAT THE PERSON IS ONLINE AND CAN ONLY RECEIVE EMAIL MESSAGES

how can i tell if person i emailed has opened it ?
