It is important that I can share the video only between a select group based on email IDs or a common login/password

Upload your videos, and set the permissions so only your friends can see. They also have an invite system so you can invite your friends.
Free! Try it out, but there is a size limit:less than 100 MB in size, one upside is that the length doesn’t matter so you can compress away.

You could also use such file hosts as Yousendit.com or Rapidshare.de to host your files, just zip them and pasword protect them.
