Is it possible to email computer files and settings from one computer to another computer?

Recently I asked a question about Windows NT supporting USB products. Well I pretty much realize that I am not going to be able to do that. The suggestions that came to me were to change operating systems. That is not an option, because the computer is through my employer. They choose the programs. I do not have that option to change operating systems. So, in order to put my settings (email addresses, favorites, several files, email settings, etc)to be transferred to another computer, can I email them to myself?

If all you are talking about is e-mail, you could grab the local mail stores, e-mail them to yourself, then import them to your new mail client.
You can also export your address book to a text file that can be e-mailed to yourself then imported on your new system.
I wouldn’t recommend trying to migrate e-mail settings since many of these reside in the registry…and messing with the registry is an invitation to a disaster.
Favorites are nothing more than links, so those can be moved generally with no problem.
Do not attempt to migrate any system settings, again because of issues with the registry.

Yes. You can email them to yourself, then go to the computer to save them to (that also has web access) and get your mail there.
